In the United States, a typical surrogacy price may range from $80,000 to $160,000. The surrogate mother’s compensation will range from $25,000 to $60,000. On top of the surrogate mother compensation, she may receive other payments to cover expenses such as:

- Traveling expense to travel back and forth from medical appointments

- Maternity clothing  

- Household cleaning services, etc.

Certain circumstances during the surrogacy pregnancy may incur additional costs. For instance, if the surrogate is having multiples, she may be requested to go on bed rest. If a surrogate is required to undergo specific invasive procedures, she may be paid additional compensation.

Once the pregnancy is confirmed, the surrogate will start to receive monthly disbursements of her base compensation. Her monthly expenses will also be reimbursed each month as an allowance.
